StomperNet Live: What I Did With My Weekend
16 April 2008, greg @ 10:14 am

I am sitting in the Atlanta airport waiting for my flight home and I thought I would tell you about the great weekend I just had attending StomperNet Live Five. StomperNet has been, and continues to be, the 1000 pound gorilla when it comes to learning SEO and Internet Marketing. If you want to learn REAL SEO skills and Internet Marketing, StomperNet is the place to learn it.

Our company has been involved with StomperNet since well before it was called StomperNet. Back when it was just Brad Fallon and Andy Jenkins, it was called The Apprentice Program. Since joining the “Apprentice” program way back when, we have not spent a single dollar on ANY other SEO program. We haven’t spent money on other programs because we haven’t needed to. Our revenues have grown a minimum of 50% every year since we have been involved. Last year we were up 75+% and for the first quarter of 2008 our run rate is nearly 80% over 2007. Pretty effective, huh? I’d say. And those number$ are from entirely organic search results not PPC. Have you been that successful on your own?????

So, the bottom line is if you want to grow your business join Stompernet when you can. I have heard they may be opening the doors for a short amount of time within the next few months. It isn’t cheap but, the return on investment can be staggering.

So what did I do this weekend? I listened to and learned from the best of the best. These folks aren’t just speakers at the SN Live events, they are StomperNet Faculty. An added bonus? NO PITCHING FROM THE STAGE!

The list is a who’s who of SEO and Internet Marketing:
(in no particular order)

That is all the people I can remember at the moment… A huge amount of new material and programs were announced during the event. Many of these will go live on April 15th. The cost for all these new faculty and programs? Zip, zero, nada. All included in the price.

So, why haven’t you joined Stompernet?

Avoid the meta keywords tag!??
16 September 2005, greg @ 10:30 am

There is an interesting guest article over at Pandia.com by Richard Ball, founder of Apogee Web Consulting. One of his reasons for not using the Keywords Meta Tag is because you are effectively handing your competitors a list of your most important keywords. My thought is while this may be true, if my competitor is worth his salt and knows his business he already knows which keywords are the most important. If my competitor doesn’t already know this information he is likely not sharp enough to understand where he can get it. The bottom line for me is I don’t think it really matters that much either way.

Your thoughts?

Reciprocal Manager Link Management Software
23 July 2005, greg @ 10:01 pm

We have just recently purchased the Reciprocal Link Manager software. What a great program! This product will take alot of the tedium out of your link getting/managing efforts. If you exchange alot of links, this is a product for you and at $147usd what have you got to lose? There is even a 90 money back guarantee.

I had a little trouble getting it installed and configured on our Yahoo! Merchant Solutions sites but after a bit of perseverance, all is working properly. If you would rather have someone install Reciprocal Manager for you, send me an email and we can talk.
